Who can become a Match Official?
Becoming a Match Official is simple; anyone can give it a go, all you need is a keen interest in the game of Rugby League, the ability to learn and the skills to control two teams of passionate Rugby League players!
How do I become a Match Official?
All you need to do is sign up to one of the many Match Officials course taking place across the country. This is a one day course that trains you in the basic laws with video clips of recent matches and practical Match Officials Drills. The course concludes with a video exam on the basics of the game.
How do I get on a course?
Applying for a course is simply, just follow the steps below;

I’ve sat my course, what do I do now?
Once you’ve sat the course you can join your local Match Officials Society. This is an important part of your support and development as a Match Official and ensures that you get the best start as a Match Official in Rugby League.
